I'm also hoping my gardening goes better than last year.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3521142812838654564.post-31454980656117092542011-02-12T23:09:41.964-08:002011-02-12T23:09:41.964-08:00Thanks for the kind words, Dan. You've definitely got the retirement gig nailed! I'm jealous...Vichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10880728839083106566noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3521142812838654564.post-16912470728765882672011-02-05T22:56:19.366-08:002011-02-05T22:56:19.366-08:00Hi! Gardening and cooking/grilling are two of my favs. Funny, I read back to the beginning of last summer and saw you started your plants in the same red cups I used.

Anyway, thanks for the link to Fly Fish Nevada on your blog roll. I have your blog bookmarked and I'll see if I can't work your link into my site somehow. I was thinking of creating another kind of catch-all blog and this kind of inspired me.

Take care!!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3521142812838654564.post-66216432873300742542011-01-30T11:22:42.217-08:002011-01-30T11:22:42.217-08:00Hi Robin, the lettuce has been great so far. The cabbage is rounding, so I expect it in a few weeks. Cauliflower plants are growing, but small heads. I must be doing something wrong with the cucs. Which variety do you use? I have grown Diva in the past, mixed results. Stay warm back there!!Vichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10880728839083106566noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3521142812838654564.post-63850315469557004472011-01-30T05:57:06.012-08:002011-01-30T05:57:06.012-08:00I hate to inform you...it's been two months si...I hate to inform you...it's been two months since your last post :)!!

Your winter garden is looking good!! Have you harvested much from it yet??

I think that you are the first person that I've heard of that has trouble growing cucumbers....maybe it has something to do with your weather and the time of year that you plant them. I don't know anything about veggies gardening in your climate so I'm of no help. I had so many cucumbers here last year that I pulled the vines when I was done making pickles!Robinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12220238404223196571noreply@blogger.com
